    Office 365 - Excel 2013 opens as blank

    We came across an interesting issue after installing Office 365 (2013 version) on a Windows 7 PC which already had Office 2010 Professional installed. After uninstalling Office 2010 from the PC, when double-clicking on an existing worksheet, Excel 2013 would open as blank. After trying standard Microsoft suggested fixes, the solution that we found was to do a quick repair to Office 365. Here's how to do this for yourself.

    Repair Office

    Follow the steps for your installation type and operating system.

    For an Office 365 Click-to-Run installation

    Windows 7
    Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
    Double-click Programs and Features.
    Click Microsoft Office 365, and then click Change.
    Select Quick Repair, and then click Repair.
